From struggle to embrace

After last session, I thought I would embrace the glue and make a plate only using that one element.  I chose another cliff photograph and got to work in the sun, applying pva with a nozzled bottle as well as a brush.  I found that if I waited for it to sem-dry, I could press into the glue to add texture and it would hold. 

Nice to play around with shifting colour across the plate. There's so much you can do with collagraphs at every step of the way!

I was quite happy with this composition.  It printed well, but not sure about the greens. The texture is starting to feel like the cliffs.
